Temitayo and Elise are working with Jordan Brooks, Assistant Director of Intercultural Affairs, to digitally document the history of the Black Cultural Center (BCC). They are continuing the work of Caelin Bryant.
Their goal is to use digital tools to preserve history that might otherwise be lost and to tell stories that might otherwise be forgotten. One product of the Vivero fellows’ work will a curated online exhibit to commemorate the 50 years of history in the BCC in time for the house’s semicentennial celebration in 2020.
