Project Leads: Autumn Wilke (Associate Chief Diversity Officer for Disability Resources) & German Vargas Ramos (Director of Digital Strategy)
Vivero Fellow (2025-2026): Valery Mayorga
This project will create digital accessibility resources designed specifically for student organizations, helping them host events, share information, and communicate in ways that are inclusive of all participants. As a Fellow, you will research best practices, develop easy-to-use guides and templates for various digital platforms and communications, and collaborate with campus partners to ensure that accessibility is built into student-led organizations and activities. The goal is to empower student leaders with the knowledge and tools they need to reduce barriers and foster a culture of access within their organizations.
Through this work, you will gain experience in accessibility advocacy, resource development, and student engagement. You will also build skills in plain-language writing, digital design, and strategy for outreach and communications. The resources you create will strengthen accessibility on campus and will also be a model for student organizations specifically, making your contributions both practical and far-reaching.
